A TASTE OF THE MANY THINGS TO DO
Winery Tours
Otago is famous for Pinot Noir and our region boasts many great wineries to explore. Gibbston Valley also provides great winery tours by bike!
Full & half day wine trips are available across the region, including Bannockburn.
Ski Fields

We have four international ski areas, all readily accessible by shuttle bus, with pick up locations walking distance from your door.
For something different, there is also cross country skiing and the
Southern Hemisphere proving grounds, cars (not) sliding on snow!
Shopping
We have a local artisan market at Earnslaw Park (on Beach Street) most Saturday mornings
10.30am -3.30pm. You will also find many fine galleries and a growing range of designer clothing and speciality stores just seconds away from your accommodation.
Food Experiences
With more than 150 bars and restaurants, Queenstown has a well-established dining scene. From Flame restaurant to Josh Emmett's iconic Rata, through to casual dining at Surreal or street food in the Mall - we've got it covered in this town.
On The Lake
One of our favourite lake activities is
the Million Dollar Cruise. A very reasonably priced, 'tiki tour' around the lake, accompanied by colourful and interesting commentary from old-time locals. The TSS Earnslaw is a legendary vintage steamboat, which sails across to Walter Peak daily for unique dining experiences and a great Kiwi working farm tour.
Mountain Biking
The Queenstown Trail is NZ's most popular great ride. There are 120km's of off-road trails, plus Skyline bike park (right in town), Coronet Peak/Skippers, Gibbston Valley and Cardrona options. Vertigo Bikes in Duke Street offer top of the range bike rental (including electric bikes) and professionally guided trips.
